On this page you can find some of the most commonly asked questions and their answers. Should you have any further events queries please contact the Events Officer.

Why have you changed to online entry?

Having an online entry system:

  • Brings us in line with other countries
  • Allows easier entry for players/parents
  • Lightens the workload of Tournament Organisers who volunteer their time to run BW events
  • Is eco-friendly by saving paper

How do I enter?

Entries for all our sanctioned events can be made here: http://badmintonwales.tournamentsoftware.com/Home

Our online entry manual can be downloaded here.

Can I enter after the closing date?

Once the entry deadline has gone there will not be an option to enter via BW Tournament Software.
The acceptance of late entries is at the Tournament Organiser’s discretion, however there is a £5.00 fee for any late entries which are accepted.
No late entries will be accepted for any Badminton Wales run events.

Why isn't my entry showing on the tournament page?/Why does the Events Tab show 0 entries?

The tournament's page on the BW Tournament Software site will not auto-update after you have entered.
Entry List publication is at each Tournament Organisers discretion, however Badminton Wales ask that an Entry List and/or Draw be available at least 48 hours prior to the event.

Should there be any queries as to whether an event will be played, please contact the Tournament Organiser.

How can I pay?

Once you have completed your entry you will be prompted to pay via PayPal or debit/credit card.
If no payment options are offered upon completion of entry, please contact the tournament organiser.

Can I pay on the day?

No, all payments for entry fees are expected in advance of the event.
Players who have not paid before the tournament date will not be eligible to play in the tournament.

Am I eligible for a refund?

Each tournament has a withdrawal deadline date which can be viewed on the BW Tournament Software event.
Any player who withdraws after this deadline are not eligible for a refund.

Who do I contact about refunds?

For all events from 2018 onwards, please contact the Tournament Organiser.
