Today the first National Junior League finals was held at Newtown Leisure Centre. Winning teams from across Wales represented their junior league divisions at the event. We had teams from Cardiff and Vale, Conwy, Gwent, NEWBA and Powys. The event was set in to 4 divisions. Divisions 3 and 4 played in the morning and divisions 1 and 2 played in the afternoon.
Representing their leagues were Penarth A, Great Orme A, Abergavenny A, Mold, Penarth B, Great Orme C, Abergavenny c, Penarth C, Deeside, Brecon C, Llanishen D, Oakdale B and Brecon D.
The morning got started with division 3 and 4 with some great games being played.
The afternoon continued with divisions 1 and 2 with the standard of play continuing to be exceptionally high.

Badminton Wales would like to congratulate all players who represented their junior league at this event. A huge well done to all winners.
