The club is sponsored by local car retailer Newtown Motors of Cwmbran, Neil Williams Job Title Newtown Motors said "We are delighted to be supporting the development of badminton in Wales and providing opportunities for the community to participate." The Nissan dealership is the main sponsor of national tournaments organised by dedicated Newport Badminton Club volunteers, that raise funds to pay for the junior club. Club Chairman Mark Thomas added: "Without the support of Newtown Motors we would not have the funds to operate the junior club, we are very grateful for their commitment and contribution."
