Sponsors line up for Cwmbran Vauxhall Tournament

Cwmbran Vauxhall are announced as the main sponsor for Newport Badminton Clubs' tournament. The first BW Senior Gold event of the year will be held at Pontypool Active Living Centre on Sunday 1st October. The tournament has a number of other Welsh and UK sponsors, including, financial services companies One Life Financial Planning and Brewin Dolphin. The prizes sponsor is retailer Maurice Robinson Sports, with free gifts provided by Welsh Water. With Sustainable Energy Ltd, one of Wales leading environment companies, also involved the tournament is set to be a huge success.

Early bird entry is now available for only £15 for the first event, with discounts for more events. The  tournament starts with mixed doubles events aimed at those that would just like to play in the morning. The ladies and men's double will follow, starting before lunch to give plenty of time for everyone to get at least four games in their group. Players are encouraged to book early as this tournament has limited entry. Prizes are provided by one of the UK's leading Badminton retailers, Maurice Robinson Sports, so enter now. 

BW Senior Gold Series

The organisers Newport Badminton Club are the leading tournament organisers in Wales for the competitive Senior Satellite Series. Newport Badminton Club Chairman Mark Thomas said, "we are delighted that Newtown Motors (Cwmbran Vauxhall) and retailer Maurice Robinson Sports continue to support the tournaments, without their sponsorship these events would not be possible." He continued, "I want to thank all our sponsors whose contribution helps to run our junior club and develop the next generation of badminton players in Wales."
