On Friday 4th July, 3 primary schools from the Morgan Llwyd cluster in Wrexham attended a Bisi Cluster Festival at Ysgol Morgan Llwyd. 23 pupils enjoyed a variety of Bisi Badminton activity stations; including Throwminton, King Pin and One minute rally challenge. The activities were delivered by AYP Officers, Sports Leaders and Young Ambassadors.

Teachers from the 3 schools also attended a Bisi Teacher Training course whereby the Badminton Development Officer
up skilled the teachers on delivering Bisi Badminton. Teachers received a Bisi Manual and a bag of equipment, containing rackets, shuttles, net, big shuttle and fluff balls, to enable the school to play Bisi Badminton.

The event was thoroughly enjoyed by both teachers and pupils.

Dafydd Rowlands, AYP Manager said,

“From the feedback I have received from the schools that participated in the programme and working in partnership with Leanne, I can only praise the structure and deliverance of the BISI Badminton programme within my cluster of primary schools. All the schools who participated thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and appreciated the opportunity to attend the training course, with many hoping to continue the delivery within the schools, utilising the equipment and resources.”
