The badminton element included a game of 'blow the shuttle', keepy-ups and a mini competition where the children had 10 shuttles each and had a point for every shuttle that they were able to hit over the net.

All of the children thoroughly enjoyed the event, especially the competitive element.

One teacher commented,

"This is a great event as the children have fun but there is also a competitive element which they really enjoy. It’s great that it’s for year 3 pupils as they get the opportunity to try sports they might not have tried before.”
